Maui, Hawaii- Ingrid Larouche, one of the most successful women windsurfers of the last decade in North America, has changed sail brands and has joined Ezzy Sails. Ingrid is the current AWT tour leader for 2016 and finished 3rd at the Aloha Classic and 5th overall for her rookie year on the PWA Tour. She will be battling her AWT title here at Hookipa next week time for the tour’s last event combined AWT/PWA Aloha Classic.
“I am really excited to be a part of team Ezzy!! , a US brand who tests and develops sails right here at my main sailing spot! Things are still new but I am feeling amazing and blown away by the sails’s control and power. I’m always looking to improve myself and I really think this change will be a great fit and opportunity for me” Ingrid explained.
“We are delighted to have Ingrid on our sails. She has continued to promote windsurfing around the Gorge, Maui, and all over the world. We hope for a great relationship for many years to come. Ingrid’s dedication to windsurfing is awesome and her initial reports of the sails are super positive. It will be a nice addition to our testing program having some feedback for ladies riding the sails.” Ezzy Sails
